The Building Successful Families Program, through VMS Family Counseling Services is pleased to partner with the Fresno County Department of Social Services to provide trauma informed training and support to Resource Parents in Fresno County. Our mission is to offer a variety of resources that focus on working with kiddos that come from hard places. Please join us for special events, live training sessions and pre-recorded online training courses. Our training calendars are updated monthly, so check back regularly or speak with a trainer about being added to our email list.
Formerly Foster Parent Resources (FPR), these are social workers that assist in finding placement for children, can be used to help locate resources in the community, and help you navigate the child welfare system.
